India will hold a national day of awareness on November 23 for the coronaviral disease, meteorologics have said.
In a statement, the Meteorological Department said the event would be held in the cities of Kolkata and Pune, the capital of Uttar Pradesh and Nagpur in Maharashtra.
It said this was the third annual awareness day for coronavirs and they were being held on a regular basis.
The meteorological department has been in the process of working with meteorological experts from the National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) to identify the best ways to highlight the spread of the virus, it added.
The country is home to over 30 million coronavirees and around 4,000 deaths have been recorded in the past two years.
